Terms and Conditions for LondonMagiciansForHire.co.uk

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and provision of entertainment services by London Magicians For Hire. By submitting a booking form and securing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Booking Fee
1.1. The Booking Fee is required to secure the Performer’s attendance at the Event.
1.2. The Booking Fee must be paid in full no later than 48 hours after submission of the Booking Form.
1.3. The Booking Fee is non-refundable.
1.4. If the Booking Fee is not paid within the specified time, the Performer reserves the right to cancel your booking and remove the Event from their schedule.
2. Performance Fee
2.1. The balance of the Performance Fee is payable no later than 60 days before the Event.
2.2. Failure to pay the balance of the Performance Fee by this deadline may result in the cancellation of the Performance. In such cases, the Performer shall have no liability to you for the cancellation.
2.3. If you cancel the Performance after paying the Booking Fee, the Performance Fee shall remain payable in full.
3. Variations to Terms
3.1. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless agreed in writing.
3.2. Emails shall qualify as being "in writing" for the purposes of this clause.
4. Performer’s Non-Attendance
4.1. In the unlikely event that the Performer is unable to attend the Event, the Performer will use reasonable efforts to find a suitable entertainer of equal professionalism and quality to attend the Event at no extra cost to you.
4.2. If a replacement cannot be found, the Performer will refund any payments made by you in full. This refund shall be the full extent of the Performer’s liability.
5. Governing Law
5.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
5.2. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
6. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
"Booking Form": The online booking form submitted by you to secure the Performer’s services.
"Booking Fee": 50% of the total Performance Fee (as set out in the Booking Form).
"Event": The date on which the Performance is scheduled to take place.
"Performance": The entertainment services provided by the Performer for the Event, as outlined in the Booking Form and these Terms and Conditions.
"Performance Fee": The agreed total fee (inclusive of the Booking Fee) for the Performance, as set out in the Booking Form.
"Performer": The magician(s) provided by LondonMagiciansForHire.co.uk to deliver the Performance.
7. Additional Notes
7.1. By submitting a Booking Form and paying the Booking Fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
7.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that the venue is suitable for the Performance and that any necessary permissions or licenses are obtained.
7.3. The Performer reserves the right to refuse to perform if the venue is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
